Rewinds and Overhauls
Our main activity is in the repair of electrical rotating equipment and transformers. The workshop facility is under the constant supervision of experienced British Electrical Engineers and is fully supported by our UK associated companies.
Explosion-Proof Motor Repairs
Intersel
FZE has extended the range of its repair facility to include the repair
and overhaul of Ex 'd', and Ex 'e', motors.
All these repairs are carried out in strict accordance with the procedures
and recommendations laid down in the BEAMA / AEMT code of practice for
the repair and overhaul of electrical apparatus for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres.
Switch Gear
We have been involved in teh following type of work:
- Installation and commissioning of generator auto synch panels
- Commissioning of 3.3, 6.6 and 11 KV switch gear of the filled and vacuum types
- Overhaul of circuit breakers and associated protection relays
- We have successfully undertaken numerous projects on both marine and shore-based switchboard panel
- We also carry out maintenance on LV and HV switchgear up to 11 KV, in accordance with the code of practice laid down in BS 5405
- Generator repairs
We undertake repair contracts for a range of OEMs including GE, ALSTOM, BRUSH, ELIN, and CATERPILLAR to name a few.
